I have foun a motercycle online it is a 2003 for 2400 it is a 600 sport bike. The guy says that he does not have a phone but He is in Newyork but the bike is in Florida. He says that he will have the bike shipped using www.intershippus.com I would give them the money and they would hold on to it until the tranaction is complete. Could this be a scam. The emails he sends seem kind of rushed.

Doing a check of the domain name and the site itself, several red flags develop.

First is they say they have been in business since 2000, but the internet address was only registered in june of last year.

Also the name and information on the donain registration is suspect, as you can see here!!

I would say that the odds of this being a scam are about the same as the odds of the sun going down at night at the equator!!

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.

Do you see where I'm going with this? Save your time and money and forget this bike. There are way too many questionable things about this seller. Scam artists use to sell property in Florida, now it's bikes.

this has scam stamped all over it. never ever buy a bike from an online ad unless u can get an actual pysical visual of the bike. never buy a bike unseen. u'll lose any money u send, and u wont be able to get it back either.

scam scam scam, who would move to new york and leave a motorcycle in florida, they dont take much space and would be easy to move if they actually moved. Find another bike, price is wayyyy too good and you are gonna get ripped off

It's a scam...stay away! A 2003 bike should run about $6K or more and he is selling it for 2k, think again.

Yes the term SCAM comes to mind. Ask him for the VIN and have it checked with local DMV. If the 'seller' refuses to give the information, blow off the offer.

Stay away from this guy...it's a scam. Never buy a bike you can't see or ride.

It's like buying a car. You have to inspect it and preferably with someone who has mechanical know how.

Don't bother with the bike.
