my windows media player is playing some tracks at twice the speed , what is wrong?

it seems to be after i have installed and uninstalled wmp 11 ( which sucks by the way) , and its only on certain tracks ..all mp3

try re installing windows media player again, available from the microsoft website,you wont lose any music as this is all stored on the hard drive of your pc, try media player 11 its bang up to date...good luck
