I have used the foam ones and some other ones i bought from ebay that have made my ears so sore. I need to sleep with ear plugs coz my bedroom window is on a busy rod and its constantly noisy. The foam ones I got from boots also made my ears sore and they dont fit.

Go to a DIY shop (B & Q or Homebase) and buy the industrialerplugs- much better than the ones in Boots.

Try going to a gun shop. Most have foam ear plugs that are actually made for the human ear canal. They have to be effective too, because firing a gun can easily damage your ear drums. Good luck.

Are you talking about the foam ones that are yellow and you squeeze them and then they form in your ears? I've found those to be the best, but don't get them if you have a cat. They will eat them, and they can't be digested.

Mine are from Superdrug, they're fluorescent orange / foam and i find them really comfortable. Try that.

try the ones that are like wax ...i think they sell them at rite aid
