hi I am 17 years old and I have been cutting for 10 years.
At first I didn't do it so much but then I got out of control.
I have cuts all the way up my right arm and it looks terrible.
I couldn't stop. I use to cut when things didn't go well in my life but then I just cut because I could. When I told me mom she freaked out and took away my razors and everything sharp.
I am going cold turkey and it is really hard. I havn't cut in 2 months even though I get cravings I don't do it. Now when things don't go well I box instead of cut. email me if you need more support or help at bjasmineb@yahoo.co.in

I"m so sorry. You know I was once suicidal and no one would listen too me. But then I found someone that would and I just cried and talked and talked and did whatever I wanted and they listened! You've GOT to find someone that listens to you that you won't be ashamed to tell your every thought too..This person will change your life. I know they saved mine. I was near death...even had planned how I was going to die. But I"m still living today and I'm glad. Fine the person! As fast as you can. And good luck, because someone out there does care.

I think that you should ask that teacher for help. If you don't, then eventually one of your buddies will, and you don't want that! Own your own problems! You will feel better about it in the future! Good luck!!

Talk with simpli-cute! You'll need some support from someone who knows what's up!

I know psychologically thatyou cut to get the pain out, or to feel pain or to punish yourself, but jesus was piersed for your sins and went thru a lot of pain to the point that he sweep blood for you. Find a theripist and then get saved. there si no reason for you to go on like this when someone has already felt your pain and knows what you are going thru.

I have known a girl just like you and I must say that she is much better now after much treatment and help. Please dont be a coward, tell your teacher that you trust, just tell her everything and dont hold back. Believe me, you can get past this if you just step up to the plate and face it head on. Dont try to hide it as it will only get worse. I wish you the best of luck. Please tell someone so they can help you.

You should definatley tell somebody!! If your cutting yourself 5-6 times a day, then, you should REALLY tell somebody.Anybody!Have you told your parents/guardians? If not, than you should go to them first, and then probably a counselor. I hope this is useful!

ohh darling, put the blade away and look at yourself in the mirror. think about all of the good things of your life. then think about the good things about you. you have friends, and they care about you. so spend less time alone, and go hang out with them to get your mind off of these thoughts. i've been through this countless of times. music seems to do the trick. take pride in yourself, and if it mean arrogance, so be it. if you really cannot do anything else to distract you from this, there is absolutely nothing wrong to go get help. you are what i consider emo.

you need to tell us what is going on in your life that is bothering you do much, that you hate yourself. or is this just a habit?
