Yikes!! Are you a nurse, or work with the patients? If not, go for it, continue to wear the lipstick, but if you are working with the ill, I would atleast wear a softer color... you know.. Here they are feeling sick, and you walk in with this look like your ready to hit the town, that might not make them feel too warm and fuzzy towards the compassinate part of hopital's , you know..... Or for the guys, it could very well lift their spirit's. It all depends on how sick the people are, I reckon...... smile!!!!

I love red lipstick and I'm at the same age as you...
But i think is gonna be too much.
Try a pale pink lipstick, or JUST a red lip gloss(without glitter in it) if you adore this color....Leave red lipstick for special occasions.

I would wear a softer red. Like a pale red. I think it would be fine, but not like cherry red! Revlon has a collection for soft pastel lipsticks, and there very inexpensive! Good Luck!

I think red lipstick is kind a strong color for work as a nurse. I think that a more professional look for a nurse is a clean natural look.

Wear a sheer red lip tint...much easier to pull off than a rich vibrant red shade...wear that when you go out with your friends.

I would think that it would depend on what you do at the hospital. Those who come into close contact with patients, are usually discouraged from using any cosmetics, as they might be offensive to a sick patient. If you have no patient contact, then you should be alright.

It depends on your complexion and the lipstick nuance, although personally I prefer neutral shades on medical personnel while working.

Red is to me a sedutive color. I think it would be better to try a color that does not draw attention to your face with a punch. Try one that is light it you want to wear red. Make it lighter not so red.
