If you're an American, you can become an attache to an US Embassy, possibly test for the Foreign Service Board, etc.

Knowing a foreign language is golden for a lot of these jobs in the Foreign Service. Or you can pick a friend of yours who you think has potential for high office, support him (or her) in elections, help him (or her) become President, then ask him (or her) to make you Ambassador of some country you'd REALLY like living in. Personally, I'd probably choose a region which isn't so volatile towards the US (of course, right now, anywhere closer than Mars is probably gonna be volatile), but that's just me.

In the USA, you currently have a worthless degree. The current administration does not care about international relations and does not practice diplomacy. You would think that you have valuable skills, but there is currently no demand for them, wait 2 years.
