It appears, (according to the media) the stripper in this case falsely accused the Duke lacrosse team of rape. Nonetheless, what are your views of this case? If the woman's claims are found to be false, should she be charged? Also, do you agree with Ann Coulter's views on this case, (who's article is listed below)?

Yes she should be charged. Again because of the behaviour of a woman, other women will suffer. She lied about rape and it adds to the difficulties faced by other women when it comes to proving the validity of their rape claims. Everytime a woman does this, others are less and less likely to be believed.

The burden of proof lies with the victim. The accused does not have to prove their inocence, its the guilt that has to be proven. Unfortunately as soon as a man is even accused of rape, guilt sticks to him like a bad smell. It is a terrible thing to falsely accuse anyone of a crime but rape carries so much stigma that simply an accusation is enough to ruin the reputation of innocent men.

There will always be people out their who will think these men got away with rape, no matter what the evidence shows, simply because they are men and they were accused.

Karma.

that's not individuals in an uproar however the Media stirring the race pot and the exposure Hounds that are inflicting the uproar. confident I remember the Duke Lacrosse Case and the Twania Brawley and Al Sharpton has not discovered from those 2 circumstances even although he exchange into Sued and had to pay a fortune to the wrongly accused. Over zealous prosecutors do not help while they take this variety of reliable stance with none information.

Should she be charged? Well, first the current case needs to be disposed of first. If it is found that there is no case to answer, there should certainlybe an investigation to determine the seriousness of her actions. Did she do it purposely or was she steamrollered by a politically-ambitious DA? I think there is a material difference. If she was steamrollered by the DA, I am inclined to think that she should be left alone. Let the State Bar and the accused focus on their legal actions against Mr. Nifong.

As for Ms Coulter, I hear what she says and even agree with some of it. Unfortunately, I think many people will not hear her because she writes too provocatively.

This case has fuel a big racial firestorm in the South.
Remember how the nation first reacted to Susan Smith saying a black man took her kids.

The Black Panthers came down demanding a GUILTY verdict for the whole team.

She sets back all rape case back because the next time when it really happens most are going to believe she is making it up.

If she is found making up the story.

She should be on the front pages of every paper and headline of all TV networks asking for forgiveness. Than punish to the full extent of the law.

She play on the race card and needs to be punish.

I think it depends on the situation. If she cant proove she has been raped, the accused should be set free, but she not charged, because failing to disprove the innocence of the accused that does not mean she was lying, she just may not have had enough evidence. That are the drawbacks of a democratic fair state you need to proove your case. If there is enough evidence for a founded suspect that she falsley accused anyone of anything she should be prosecuted and charged if proven guilty.

She in return should be charged with a penalty with a sentence just as long as a rapist would get. She could have ruined somebodies life

Number one, you don't get yourself into such a situation. A good stripper would come with an escourt even if they stay in the car, but most like they come in and hold your coat.

It's called professionalism.

You're a photographer, you go and shoot the wedding. If you wander off with a bridesmaid looking for a perk you can get yourself into trouble.

Strippers should come, strip publically, put their coat on. Take a bow and then leave.

More than likely she was assulted, but it's no different than any girl who goes off with a guy to a back room.

If a girl is going off to a back room, she's expecting something to happen. With a guy, you can expect sex. Any girl who goes off like that is on her own.

Carry mace.

Learn KArate.

Any guy who finds a girl that easy to take off with also deserves to have his wallet lifted!

I believe they are innocent because she has a shadey past anyway and the evidence isn't there. Isnt she pregnant or something? I dont care what color she is, she isnt much of a witness to sexual abuse if she is a prostitute anyway.
