Yeah, if you didn't the fish would taste nasty when you cooked it. Gutting fish isn't all that gross.

Yeah I guess if I had to. Probably make a mess of it though since I've never done it before. I'm a cowardly predator, I get all my meat already killed and prepared from the supermarket.

I don't eat fish but I do catch and clean them.Gutting them is the best part.
