I used to own a 2litre 206CC SE and I absolutely ADORED it!!!!!
I bought it brand new in 2004. It was silver and had full leather interior and all the trimmings!
I traded it in last June after keeping it for two years... The day I took it to the garage I cried and cried (how sad am i?)
I couldn't look at it when I left it on the car park because I felt so sad. I still feel down when I see them now!
The only reason I changed cars was because of size. I now have an '06' plate, 1.9 dci130 megane cc in black. It's quick but not as quick as my 206cc. It's nice looking but not as nice as my 206cc. Its only plus is that it has more space in the back for my 6 year old son! Damn and blast, why'd he have to grow up so quick! It took a hammering from my boy racer style driving but when I traded it in it was in excellent condition and I got a really good trade in price. It depreciated very little in value!
If I were you I would definitely definitely go for the 206cc! It is the quickest and most gorgeous looking hard top convertible on the market! I'm jealous because I would LOVE another!!! xx

peugeot 206cc guaranteed a roof leak! i work for peugeot and we have one in at least every week for this fault, usually the seals, and easy fixable but still not what u want! have to admit tho... mainly bought by females? the 307cc is dearer but u could by an older one for the same price as a newer 206 cc and know u have a nice and unbreakable car! good luck x

wonderful car - I would say that I've got one! go for the 1.6 Allure. they were known for having leaky roof seals. but appart from that the car is brilliant.
My seals went after 3 months - but the garage changed them no problems - free of charge if its still under warrenty. if you are buying second hand - check the roof goes up and down ok ( if you have problems there you're looking at £3k plus to sort it out) also check the main roof seal.
If you are buying a new one - hold off until the summer and buy the 207CC. they'll probably do a nice offer on them when they are first released.

What is it with you Peugeot owners? Just listen to some of the answers -- "roof leaks but wonderful car", "roof switches go bad", "rattles", "guaranteed roof leaks but can be easily repaired" --- what?? Why would anyone that is not mentally deranged buy a Peugeot when there is most certainly a ten year old Honda Civic for sale somewhere? Peugeots spend as much time in service that they do in your drive. The materials are third rate, the build quality is iron curtain era and engineering is theoretical. It escapes me how any single piece of dung on four wheels continues to find a buying market outside of a communist country. Everyone hates the Americans for one reason or another but you can't accuse us for buying dumb; even WE won't buy Peugeots.
