Doesn't sound like a virus...

Sounds like:

Your CPU % usage is too high (too many application and processes running at the same time)

An active anti-virus may be causing you pc to slow down for a short time...

You may have loads of spyware on your system - use SPYBOT (Search and destroy) to remove unwanted Adware and Spyware.

Go to Internet properties and delete your Interent tempory history

If you have wireless connection as stated by the user below something may be interfering with the signal.

I would advise a virus scan as well just to be safe.

It's definitely some kind of interference. If it's only when you are on the internet my guess would be you're using a wireless router that is too close to the monitor. Unshielded speakers to close to the monitor will cause this as well.

My monitor did the same thing....I kept my cellphone on my computer desk (close to the monitor) which was causing my problem. Right before my cellphone would ring the monitor would start shaking....Problem solved..I moved my cellphone away from the computer and I haven't had the problem since...

Uba cuba.
I would think it to be a virus since there is no physical connection.
