strength = manpower, technology, natural resources

weaknesses = lack of jobs, lack of funding for development

probably why many foreign nations are exploiting there chaep labor source, and are looking to get in on ivestments inside of india targeting natural resources and other prospects.

Strength: 1. Well trained personnel available in all fields. 2. Excellent education system is available for back up. 3. Attitude of the personnel is suited for team work.---Thus production is unhindered and at its peak, based on the planning done by these individuals as well as when executed.
4. Raw material is available in plenty for most of the products.
5. investment climate is good, funds generated easily- FDI alsol is encouraging. Stock markets bubbling with energy. 6. Value of Rupee is almost steady. 7. Import and export and foreign exchange reserves are in good position. 8. Foreign cos., outsource, taking India as one of the main destination where skilled men are available. 9. Political climate is good. 10. Tourism and aviation industry are seeing growth. 11. Enviable technological advancement, including outer space. 12. Good foreign relations with the majority of the countries, helping exports.
Weakness: 1. population growth is not favourable. 2. below poverty line people in large no. thus resistance to accelerated development. 3. Still better relations should be attained with neighbours. 4. Law and order imporvement is required at selected places. 5. Political interference, corruption at different levels should go.
Thus more of positives, than negatives, so much so lot of investment is taking place and GDP growth is fast approaching double figure of 10.
