when i open the internet explorer a site comes(http://www.dcurtis.com/2/popup/2.php?ref... and says i have a spyware and says to download the program and scan for spyware but when i scanned with zonealarm pro it didnt find anything. is it serious?
Plssssssssss helP!!!!!

never trust any of such messages on the net. They themselves install virus and malwares on your pc . Trust ur own software.

what virus scan are you using? I have found that spyware can be harmful but mostly is annoying, because of the pop-ups that tend to come up. This could be a spyware that is trying to get you to use their scan which could put you at more risk. I suggest going into microsoft or norton virus scan home page there is usually a page that you can look up risks and threats to see what level of risk it is and how to get rid of it! Do not download anything from this site its probably a virus yo will end up downloading ...there are several good spyware programs that are legitimate take a look at this site it might help

ANY website that tells you that you have a virus IS a virus itself.

Run a legitimate program like Spybot (free from spybot.com), MaCaffee or Norton.

You definitely have a bug.

first do an update to your antiviurs program. then turn off sys. restore then boot in to safe mode by tapping F8 as your computer starts up then do a full sys. scan/ be sure to turn sys. restore back on after you are done. i agree in part with (anujagraj) answer above

go to google.com

type in download adaware

download it and run it

then go to filehippo.com, and look for CCleaner

run it as well.

then go back to Google, and type in download Firefox
or download opera
