If you are in UK you are entitled to 20 days holidays per year(pro rata'd based on your normal hours per day). This 20 days may or may not count the 8 days standard bank/public holidays - your employer decides that. In terms of pay - this is very much down to your terms of contract. Whilst your employer must honour the days off as part of the European Working Time Directive, it is their choice if they are paid or not. Check your contract of employment and if you do not have one demand one from your employer they must provide it.

Yes you are legally entitled to paid holidays and in the UK it is 4 weeks (some employers can give you 3 weeks of choice and bank holidays but nice employers like mine give us 4 weeks of choice and all the bank holidays)

Yes you are.
In my last job I worked 18 hours a week, and I was entitled to 14.5 days holiday a year (a full time person doing 36 hours a week, who had been there the same length of time was entitled to 29 days).

It depends on your employer. One retailer I worked for did pay part timers for holidays, but it's an average of your daily hours worked in a week. So if you work 20 hours per week, and worked 4 days per week, you would get paid 5 holiday hours.
Same thing for vacation time. You get a week of vacation time, but it's based on your hours worked.

According to the Labor Board, it is up to the Employer if they pay vacation or not. It is NOT a requirement. Ask your boss if they do or don't pay on it. Part timers usually do not get paid for it. Unless they work on that day. Then it would only be regular time, since you need to work 40 for overtime and holidays to count.

It's up to the employer. To my knowledge part time employees generally do not get paid for holidays.

part time workers are entitled to the same benefits as full time workers .... I should think you would be entitled to paid holidays but less of them than your full time counterparts
