yes, with the cost the government spends on the war it raises the cost of everything else. It's making it more and more difficult for a middle class person to survive. In reality people are living on credit . If people had to pay cash for everything they would not be able to survive. So if you look at it that way they already are in the lower class.
The last president had the economy very stable Making it easier for the middle class to survive and the USA was viewed positive around the world. Now America is the laughingstock of the entire planet.
in all countries the middle class is dissolving. It's becoming either rich or poor and very little in between. I have lived in several countries over the past five years and have seen the changes.
God help the middle class.

Yes, I strongly believe that the government is trying to destroy middle class. But the government doesn't realize that the middle class is the back bone of our society. The poor or the rich don't pay as much in taxes as the middle class does.Once the government destroys the middle class , our society will collapse. Too bad.

Yes..I do. The poor usually don't own anything of real value to pay taxes on. And the rich have all those loop holes to keep from paying taxes. It's the middle calls that supports everyone....from this country and beyond.

No. The middle class is prospering. Unemployment rate is at an all-time low. The total number of people employed is at an all-time high.
Just yesterday, I heard on a radio talk show that there are currently 10 trillion dollars invested in mutual funds in the US. That's a lot of IRA's, 401k's, and every other kind of savings plan.
In any other country, the middle class of the US would be considered the "filthy rich."

NO, the US government is not destroying the middle class. It's lack of financial education---that's what's destroying the middle class.

Not the government, just the current president. It is not their intent, but that is the result of catering to the elite.
