This is not an attack for thoes who had a sex change ect, Its just something i like to know to stop a little rift btw me and my other half.

When a man or a woman has a sex change (in the UK). by law is that persons new gender registerd has the sex that person had done by operation, or is that person still by law the gender they was born.
So say a man had sex change to a woman, is he by law a woman or a man, also if they was to be put in a prison, what prison would that person be sent too.

Do you want me to really answer this on here babe??????????????. Oh sh** just watch people stop talking to me now. I am a male to female transexual and had my op over 13 years. ago. After my op I turned out to be Lesbian. but thats another story. Once they have had the op they get put in a female ward in hospital, put in a female prison if they do wrong. Can change their birth certificate to female which I have done and can have same sex marriage to another woman. Just hope you dont all fall out with me.

I actually believe whether you change sex, you will stay registered as what you were born with, and I think they would be sent to the prison of the sex they were born, because other women may find out that the woman used to be a man and feel uncomfortable about it. It's more practical this way, but they should have Tranny Jails, where if in any case a transgendered person is sent to prison, they have somewhere where everyone's the same.

I think it is still the case that the sex on the birth certificate cannot be changed allowing a marriage. It is possible now to have a civil ceremony the same as any other same sex couple

Since the Gender Recognition Act 2004, a person who has undergone gender reassignment, or is professionally assessed as suffering from gender dysphoria, can apply for a gender recognition certificate, and subsequently a new birth certificate showing their 'acquired' gender. However, they have to apply for this, it is not given automatically.

since the UK recognizes same sex marriage he now she, is recognized by law as female, unless she has yet to have a name change and has yet to change her births proff of being a former male

that might sound alittle odd mentioning the same sex marriage but alot of how the law defines marriage defines a man and women, here in the states that catagory is under civil law, i dont know what catagory the UK laws fall under for same sex marriage

At a college I attended I knew a guy who had a sex change and became a chick. A really ugly chick. But anyways. He was married as a man and was still married as a woman. But gays aren't allowed to marry in that state.

not male, not female but shemale.

As i understand it. In the past, a man changing to a woman could not then marry a man as they were still classed male by the authorities and vice versa.

They can get their records changed to match their actual gender identity. I don't know the procedures for the U.K. but I know it's possible.
