The quantity of institutes in India offering MBA programs has increased faster than the quality at which the course has developed. This is similar to the period in the 90s when Software programs developed faster than the hardware industry could match. This led to Software outgrowing hardware and a subsequent collapse of the IT industry. The same could happen with Management education in India if the colleges are not regulated properly
