Mike Hussay will make the maximum runs in this world cup, he belongs to the best team and the present form of the batsman is terrifying, most of the time, bowlers find no way to get him out.

I think Ricky Ponting will be the leading run scorer. He is in great form at the moment, and has some other factors that will aid his cause. He bats at No. 3, which allows him to potentially spend a long time at the crease. The strength of Australia means they should get to the final, and in my opinion will win it, so he will get more opportunities than others.

hussey and ponting would be very good educated guesses based on facts that oz is the best team and therefore likely to go all the way...and hussey is in super form and hungry for runs and dedicated, and ponting is mentally the toughest of all and is in good form...
i wouldn't pick lara or tendulkar first because unsure how far in the tournament they will go...
then there's the unknown factor...someone that gets it together for a tournament...and good luck to em whoever it is for this world cup-just like all sports...but hussey,ponting,tendulkar,lara would be the most likely...
