it is not because of lack of Hindu population in border states that caused extremism. there are two reasons for extremism in north east states. for example, the leadership and cadre of UL FA are Hindus,.most of the Maoists belong to Hindus.terrorism has no religion . it is to be called terrorism only.even now, north east Indians are looked as Chinese and hoteliers in south India ask them to show visa and pass port. Myanmar, Pakistan, Bangladesh harbour Indian terrorists and causing disturbances in India.

Up to some extent you are right.
AS per my opinion India witnessing Democracy only due to Hindu tolerating nature and Hindu's are open to all kind of discussion no matter what is it, you can ask as many as question you want to ask to Pundit no matter what is it but not in other religion
e.g. Muslim will obey only what Koran teaches there is no place to discuss any issue.
Same in the Christianity but Christians are not forcing ppl to go only through bible way there they give a forum for discussion but Christians are desperate to expand their religion and this is how they are at fault.
To spread religion Christians do some mistake.
Jammu and Kashmir is facing problem all due to majority of Muslims over there , Govt. is expending as much as Rs.200 per person in J&K which just double to other part of Country, thjey have been given extra facilities unneccessarily.
This is all due to Muslims, All Muslim are not helping Terrorists but olitician like Mufti muhammad Syed and hisdaughter Mehbooba Mufti Syed are clearily apprasing them.
look at above answer free thinker thinking freely...like communists you talk about one issue they will another.
freethinker topic is Muslim population in border states not Hindu population or terrorism..you can post another question to discuss Hindu terrorists(if there are some).

in some cases, this might be the case, such as in J&K where the population is predominantly Muslim
however, this is not always the case.
there are some border issues in Bihar, but not because of Hinduism. Afterall, most Nepalis are also Hindus.
On the border with Tibet most people are Buddhists. However, Buddhists are peaceful people and do not make war with Hindus.
On the border with Myanmar, people are also Buddhist. Against, Buddhism is not the cause of border tensions. Those tensions are more linked to ethnic nationalism.

Terrorism is not religious extremism, but of course it is one of the cause. Border states of India have extremist, bcoz of there poor financial condition.
The developed countries of the world are financing these nations for there own vested interest. People from these countries get easily influenced, bcoz of there economic backwardness. It has nothing to do with religion based population.

Most extremist activity is called religious. It is really hate, but religious sounds better, less evil. There are hindu extremists as well.
