hmmmm, it really is a stumper. I think the problem is the eleven hundred part. The correct expression would be 12,111 or twelve thousand-one hundred and eleven

No... There is no numerical equivalent to "eleven hundred" in this instance. It rolls over and changes eleven thousand to twelve thousand..
