of course, just like any other people around the world, Filipinos:
*have some xmas shopping...
*put Xmas decorations in their houses, offices, schools etc...
*buy & wrap xmas gifts for their love ones, relatives, colleagues...
*prepare for xmas parties or programs...
*mostly, they go back to their provinces to have vacation and celebrate there as well...
*go to some place or to other neighbors and then, they carol..-sing xmas songs & u'll be given some money or food..
*attend on what we call "simbang gabi" - it's a 9 consecutive nights of going or attending mass..it is a belief that if u able to complete those, u have to wish on the last day and your wish will come true...
...hope these help!...(^_^)

In the Filipino household that I grew up in we got ready for Christmas, put a tree up, bought presents, had a huge huge huge feast with just about every member of the family (those overseas usually didn't make it out to L.A.). The Filipinos I know celebrate Christmas even in the Philippines.

Since it's a Christian nation as is the US, they put up trees and overspend like Americans, except it's a poorer country so they have to settle for the Nintendo Cube.
