I believe that there is only 1 god. But humans have developed various ways to pray and as such the buildings came about too. But God is everywhere, so no, there's no need to go to a special building. Pray from your heart, God will hear you.

Sometimes a special place makes the experience more meaningful. Of course there is no 'need' for a special place. If you cannot pray just 'anywhere' then there is something seriously wrong with your concept of God.

Prayer is like a letter or talking to God. You can pray anytime, anywhere, and for anything. God Bless!

Some people try to convince you that you can only pray in church but that is not true. You can talk to God anywhere, anytime.

One can pray the God from any where ,however you can concentrate better from some places where the environment helps you to do so.

Biblically speaking, a simple example would be Adam and Eve. As far as I can remember there was not a church or temple in the garden of eden, and they seemed to speak to God fairly well. Listening to what he had to say, now that was the real problem.

No - throughout history when people have been persecuted for their beliefs they have prayed in secret - and not in a public building.

If God is omnipotent it doesn't matter where you pray or if you pray at all, as he knows if you're a good soul or not.
