do you think it would be a good idea to send these women to a specified place where they could all be nurotic, bad tempered, snappy and emotional together and maybe have another seperate place where their partners/husbands could all go and watch sports, have a great laugh and get drunk together until the missus has regained her normal state of mind?

Well this actually used to happen. Not to extent that you are talking about but in some countries when a women was bleeding she would go to room for a few days and wouldn't be able to do anything. Being on your period is very draining physically and emotionally, u men wouldn't leave the house if it happend to u lol

I think it's a brilliant idea. Having a hubby driging you nuts while you are a walking psychopathic menslaughter disaster will be highly beneficial. At least a few days in a hotel left alone would be lovely.

You only just managed to show your complete ignorance.. PMS would be PREmenstrual syndrome (not during the period but before it). And not all women suffer for it. It's ignorant arses like you that makes it even worse, like the PMS wasn't enough by itself... sheesh!

I think it would be better to honour this fact by bringing in laws that force men to take care of women when they have their periods... bring them hot chocolate, let them watch their favourite stuff on tv, cook them nice food, yeah?

how do you affirm that women in period have bad tempered? just some women have this... and you shouldn´t estimate, so many women take contraceptive pills and chose when they will have period
