Isomers : Compounds which have same molecular but different stuctural formula

Isobar of calcium : Ar (also 40)

Isotone : K39 and Ca40 (20 neutrons each)

In chemistry, isomers are molecules with the same chemical formula and often with the same kinds of bonds between atoms, but in which the atoms are arranged differently. That is to say, they have different structural formulae. Many isomers share similar if not identical properties in most chemical contexts. This should not be confused with a nuclear isomer, which involves a nucleus at different states of excitement.

A simple example of isomerism is given by propanol: it has the formula C3H8O (or C3H7OH) and two isomers Propan-1-ol (n-propyl alcohol; I) and Propan-2-ol (isopropyl alcohol; II)

An example of isomers having very different properties can be found in certain xanthines. Theobromine is found in chocolate, but if one of the two methyl groups is moved to a different position on the two-ring core, the isomer is theophylline, used as a bronchodilator.

Isoton-
isoton is a completely different thing. it has got nothing to do with isomers. An isoton is a measure of both mass and explosive yield used by Federation and Dominion science during the 24th century.

In 2373, Kilana had her Jem'Hadar troops fire ten isotons of explosives near a Jem'Hadar attack ship in which a team from Deep Space 9 was seeking shelter. (DS9: "The Ship")

In 2374, Captain Benjamin Sisko and his crew used ninety isotons of enriched ultritium to destroy a ketracel-white facility in Cardassian space. (DS9: "A Time to Stand")

Isomers are compounds who have the same formula, but different structures. Diamond and graphite are different forms of pure carbon, but they have different bonding patterns inside the substance. They could be called isomers (I classify them further as allotropes of carbon, but that's semantics).

It may be possible that the crystal structure of calcium metal is different under different pressure/temperature conditions.

Isobar means same presure. Weather maps often have Isobar lines (lines where the presure is the same any place along a line).

I'm not familiar with the word 'isotron'. Sorry.

isomers are compounds having same molecular formula but different structural formula

isobars are elements having same mass number but different atomic number e.g. argon is isobar of calcium
