I am FURIOUS thatteh programme makers have made this show. It is like watching Beirut on TV. I dont believe that Arden is like this. There MUST be better bits they didnt show. How can Channel; Five be serious. This is NOT reopeat NOT what Arden is like. I know. I lived there some time ago. Does anyone else agree that this is just too far fetched? I mean please - there was defecation in teh stair well. Discus?

I saw this and thought oh my god how can anybody live like that??????

There must be some truth in this program they obviously didn't ask for the graffiti to be put there or the pee running down the floor.

I beleive there must be some nice parts because they only showed 1 stair well throughout the program.

It will be intersesting to see what happens to the rest of the Arden estate.

dont kid yourself mate, there is bad parts in glasgow all over, i have lived there for 34 years and i have seen equally as bad in good areas, for instance before darnley and nitshill were pulled down and re built, im sure you can remember the quality of housing, it was equal to what you seen on the program if not worse. i do think that programs make glasgow look rough and if there is ever an actor they will be a villian lol, but its just the reputation it has, Glasgow city council are spending thousands every year on things like fireworks and flowers and things to brighten up the city, but are blind to the deprevation in these city housing estates.
