I haven't had a purpose or direction for years, and my compass seems to be broken.

Well, my current purpose and direction is to retire before I'm too old to enjoy it.
Sometimes, the only purpose and direction is to support yourself and get through the day. You don't need lofty goals, You don't need to find a cure for cancer or save the world from starvation. Sometimes, just getting up and keeping your feet headed in the right direction has to be good enough.
Or make your purpose and direction truly attainable...find something to smile about...help someone for no reason. Bring a little joy into someone's life. Do something for someone else with no expectation of thanks. If you can give someone a little joy, including yourself, that really can be the highest purpose of all.

After years of purpose and direction, I'm in a new place now. Unhurried. Just living. I think its a good place to be - exactly the place I'm now. I don't know, maybe it will change again.

I just haven't been able to find a purpose yet, I just cope with the difficulties that come every day. Like most people I know seem to.

Honey, every one has a purpose. You are just lost for a little while. You will find it eventually.

Everyone has a purpose in life, that is why God created you. My purpose is to always serve HIM, and obey.....and by doing this i will always be headed in the RIGHT DIRECTION.........which is Eternal Life.........Be Blessed.
