no i don't think so as the indian board has a point to prove here that "we are looking for performers not big names" and if at all india wants to beat australia which is the team to look out, then they have have manage their team and board like that as a matter of fact ACB even kicked out Matthew Hayden from ODI squad in the champions trophy because of his poor performance
who is a better player than Sehwag both in repute and standards

It depends on many things. If India finds a decent replacement Sahwag's chances are not great but india struggles for the opening pair then Sahwag might make in the final 15. Personally I think his days are over.

Indian is not complete without Sehwag....yes there are some good players....but no one can try to win the world cup without the experienced players....Sri Lanka did it in 1996...only becos they were experienced.....i think that india can do it...all they have to do is to sack the coach...and hire back john wright....

Ya definitely . Everbody goes thru a bad patch and he is no exception. I hope his dropping for first 2 matches against WI will be enough to shake him up and we can expect a blitzerig from viru when he comes back.....
He shld definitely b a part of 15 mem team... as thru these years india has beeen riding on marvellous starts given by viru in first 15 overs.

I strongly feel that he will regain his lost touch and form shortly and will come back to Indian ODI Sqauad for the World Cup and India cannot afford to miss the services of such a deashing batsman who can demoralise any bowling attack in the world on his day.
