I've already had to replace the batteries in both remotes. How do make sure the remotes are properly switched off? Are you supposed to be able to switch them back on by pressing any button? That's what ours are doing, and I'm wondering if we're switching them off at all (we press the red button by the battery compartment). Any help/advice would be great.

Basically you will need a warehouse of AA batteries for you wiimote for a month so if I were you I would sell my Wii on eBay and get a PS3 that has motion sensing and the remote lasts 30 hours and is rechargeable.
