this sounds like a dll error to do with something that is supposed to load on start up,so the first thing you should do is disable error reporting
right click "my computer",then click the advanced tab and then click error reprting at the bottom of the page, then disable the error reporting (except for critical errors)
this will then give you a chance to pinpoint this error, first go to run and type "msconfig" and then press the start up tab
you should then look for any entries in start up that have anything to do with the problem file
the name smartbridge makes me think it could be something to do with a scanner or printer, however as it has "get process imagefilenamew" this could also be to do with a wallpaper or desktop enhancement,so check to see if you have installed one,if so remove it
however psapi.dll is a dynamic link libary security file..check this http://uk.search.yahoo.com/search?search=psapi.dll&ei=UTF-8&fr=ks-ans&ico-yahoo-search-value=http%3A%2F%2Frds.yahoo.com%2F_ylt%3DApFQf_ts30eogCb1nfIRJ.YTBgx.%2FSIG%3D1140u5jk8%2F*-http%3A%2F%2Fuk.search.yahoo.com%2Fsearch&ico-wikipedia-search-value=http%3A%2F%2Frds.yahoo.com%2F_ylt%3DAh7XZnZvzAkgMvYnhNs0qzITBgx.%2FSIG%3D11ia1qo58%2F**http%253a%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FSpecial%253aSearch&p=psapi.dll
so also check all your security programs(anti virus,anti-spyware) and make sure that they are all compatible with each other,if it is a problem with a security program then you may need to change the offending software
i hope this has helped
good luck

I can't help you but I also have the same or similar problem. In my case it is related to my internet support tool provided by Blueyonder. I think it started to happen after I downloaded Internet Explorer 7. As far as I know it is not causing a serious problem but is an irritation.

The problem might - you don`t say - be because you have downloaded the latest I.E.

I downloaded IE7 months ago with no problems, therefore I would say to contact your PC's tech service. If your warranty expired expect to pay for info...not cheap

this happens when a system file accidently gets deleted. it might not be a big problem but if you don't want to put up with the alerts, I suggest you reformat you computer and reinstall everything...

That's a tuffy. Have you called the computer people you bought it from? ie. Dell.
