I say if HE wants to play stupid war games all the time, then YOU should start going out and have a good time while he is doing that! He needs a reality check, by the time the novelty of the game is gone you will be too! Give him a chance first and ask him if he can spend some quality time with you, if he wont - then go out clubbing! You might as well have some fun!

When I first saw yor question Jo I thought for a miniute that me and you could perhaps meet up and then............. we could ............ and if I was really lucky..... only messing! I know that sometimes we can take our other halves for granted when we shouldnt etc etc but looking at your picture I reckon
your husband needs a slap! Geek! Maybe its because Im young(ish) but you versus an evening on the internet only leaves one winner! On the otherhand it looks like he gives you some space to do your own thing and presuming hes the father to your kids (and a good dad) you might want to think about persevering.with it? Anyway ..... if he doesnt get a grip get in touch @ danielcooper182@btinternet.com and we ll have a ball! God I think that I should go into being an Agony Aunt! Good luck Gal!

Maybe he is hiding from you playing the game. So maybe you are the problem for him.
It is easy to see the problem from your perspective. Have you tried to think from his?
If he is not hiding from you, maybe he is hiding from something that bothers him and that's the reason for his need of relaxation. Those games keep your complete attention and make you forget the reality.
So maybe there is a chance for you to help him solving something.
If he doesn't want you to help him, might be that you are not constantly being of too much help... or maybe he is still in the process of discovering which the real problem is.
Personally I think that a game is a really bad excuse to say that you want to divorce.
So if you have something important to do.. do it. Use your time in what you think is important instead of loosing time checking how your husband play a game. Help him but also help yourself. Maybe like that he will find more interest on you.
What are you doing while he is playing?

I would have answered sooner, but i was questing on WOW.. lol.. anyway, listen.... your guy is not choosing to love his game over love for you, he is however being really irresponsible to his duties as a husband by not giving you the time you need as well. Don't hate him for loving to play his game.. it is alot of fun and can be very addicting for many... sounds like he could be one... but besides that, the problems need to be far beyond that of a game to cause for divorce. have you sat him down and explained that you are feeling majorly neglected and thinking of calling it quits? Maybe you two need to compromise and have some date nights or time set aside for things you want from him, but allowing him some free play time as well... regardless, I would suggest you both get some counseling to get all of this out in the open. He may have other issues in his life making him withdraw from you hat he needs to deal with.. and you probably have some as well. Please make sure you have tried all areas of help before you just dump him... you loved him once, i am sure you still do.. this just might be the "for worst" part you guys need to overcome. As far as the game goes... it will get old eventually for him... in a few years maybe.. lol.. seriously, i play and i know it can be addicting... I just make sure I don't let it get that way for me :) Best of luck to you.....

Its nothing to do with you not being interesting enough or whatever the first answer said, my older brother has a stunning girlfriend and they are really close but he has just got an xbox and he is addicted to the thing! his girlfriends pissed off 2. Its just a phase, you know how it is with boys and their toys. As for him having no respect and a bad attitude maybe its symptoms of his gaming addiction, sounds nuts but can be true.

I'd agree with the 1st comment. Why doesn't he want to spend time with you?

My Ex used to watch brainless TV every night, so I used to play on my computer instead... Its MY sort of TV...

We all get fads in our lives, whether it be going to the gym, reading books or socialising.

Tell him that you understand that hes a bit hooked on his game right now but can he set aside some time to take you out at least once a week....

The word neglect comes to mind by your description of him, but seriously you need to ask why he finds his games more interesting than you? you have talked about the distractions he has with the internet, but what are you doing to distract him away from the internet?

Listen Hon. I don't know you but you have to ask yourself why he prefers the game to spending time with you. You need to make time spent with you more interesting than a dumb game. I'll leave it to your imagination but I'll tell you, my guy would never get away with that. Not when I have it in my power to make him prefer me. Just a suggestion.

LOL!!!!

as with all boys toys, the novelty will wear off eventually and said toy will wind up in the loft gathering dust!

give it time!
