he was everything most are not.he lived for her,and never gave me a hard time when it was his turn to keep her.i am still in shock over all this.i thought we would raise her together as a team,but now am doubting that i am strong enuff to do it alone.

i am so sorry what a shame if you look up mister rodgers on line he created a series of books and videos espically for kids about the death of there parents there are also counseling sessions all over the country that you can look up and most are no cost fred rodgers was such a special person so concerned with feelings of children so start there and hopefully you'll find some help for you and her good luck ....the counsiling is sponsered by mr. rodgers also

The former answer is right on the money the Mr. Rogers Foundation is FANTASTIC. You should also contact your local community mental heath agency to get assist for your child and you. By the sounds of your question you too are hurting for the loss. You need to deal with it as well as your child and come to peace with what has occurred.

A book called Surviving the Loss of a Love is a good one for you right now to get you on the track to healing.
