Because there's a child soul inside every of us. Okay, just kidding.
What makes politicians to behave like a child is their lust for power and money. That is especially true when it comes to developing and third-world countries.
With their own respective political parties, they try to gain as much as vote from the people in the election. But then, after they had won, they'll forget about their promises and show their partisanship.
To solve this problem, we must remember that the most important in this issue is not the election, but the reform of the political parties.

It would be a big improvement if they would act like Kindergartners...
Kindergartners:
don't hit back
take turns and share
report to an adult when someone is doing something wrong
know that the roots grow down before the plant grows up
don't play when they're supposed to be working
don't take something that isn't theirs
hold hands and work together
cover their mouth before they cough or sneeze
wash their hands before they eat
look both ways before they cross any street
I really wish politicians were like children!

They're ambitious for their positions, just as children want things for themselves.
