I know how u feel, I feel very protective of my hubby when his ex starts taking the p*ss out of him (with regards to the child they have together). I have advised him, gone mad & even said a few things to the ex myself, but u cannot change them. If they do stop being shy/timid/walkovers it will be because theyve had enough & not due to others advising.
My advice to u would be to just be there for her, listen to her if she needs to talk & only offer your advice if she asks for it.
I know it's hard - trust me, it takes up all my strength for me to keep my mouth shut lol - & u have her best interests at heart but it's something she has to learn on her own. As I said, just be there for her.
Good Luck to u & your girlfriend. She sounds like a very lucky lady to have someone that cares so deeply for her :-)

unfortunately she needs to learn that lesson herself - its the only way im afraid. just be there to support her.
your too protective if your upsetting her and interfering in her life.
