Remember: a long foreskin adds volume where she needs it most. If you are circumcising you are actually removing part of the skin volume and I am ,for this reason , against the idea.
In my practice I prefer to help young kids with Phimosis (narrow foreskin) by dilating it under a short general anaesthesia and the use of local anaesthetic jelly for the first few days until the young boy can pull the foreskin by himself. painlessly.
In this way he will make good use of what Nature has given him.

There is nothing wrong with having a long foreskin for sex; it's only "abnormal" if you can't retract your foreskin behind the glans easily. Since you say it rolls back with some pain, this might be due to mild phimosis, a condition where the foreskin opening is a little too narrow/tight for it to be retracted easily. For the severity of your condition, circumcision would be too radical.
Try "stretching exercises" first; these usually work in the majority of cases. For one stretching exercise, take two fingers and stretch the foreskin opening as far as it'll go without pain or major discomfort (like increasing its radius) by hooking a finger on either side of the opening. This is a little hard to describe and may take a few tries to get right. It's best to do this right after a shower and do this exercise for a few minutes each day for a few weeks to a month.
If after a month and you see no improvement, ask your doctor about prescription creams that're supposed to help, especially when combined with stretching exercises. If after another month or so and this doesn't work, then you may consider surgical intervention. Note that surgical options don't necessitate circumcision, as there are several more conservative alternatives (see one of the links).
If you feel your foreskin is "too" long, you may even want to consider a "partial circumcision" where only the very end of your foreskins is removed, essentially making your foreskin shorter and easier to work with. In any case, a full circumcision is most likely overkill in your case. It should be reserved as a last resort when all other options you're willing to try have failed, so disregard anyone who suggests it as the only option or the primary option. See links for more info.

If it's causing you pain and aggrovation then the choice is yours ultimately. What's more important? Your health or your tradition? I would go with your health, personally. Why go through the agony when it can be easily remedied? Circumcision was invented for a reason, ya know!
If you get circumcised, it doesn't affect your genes. You can still pass things on hereditarily.

Circumcision IS an abomination - it is bodily mutilation, and we should respect our bodies. As the doctor above has pointed out, there are ways to help you that do not involve circumcision. Please try to get help that leaves your genitals intact. Circumcised men have much less sexual pleasure than whole men, and so do their wives. This is a precious body part that may need some medical treatment, but it should never need to be removed.

you and your partner should have the more sensation than those without foreskin. their partner do not enjoy what your partner has. but you need to keep it clean everyday.
