donna m, thanks thats what i was told, after the name of the boxer,i know that the rockys are somewhat far-fetched but this boxer took stallone to court i believe,over rights that the films were based loosly on him and won the court battle?

The original Rocky movie was based on a boxer called Chuck Wepner. He was a relatively unknown fighter, who went 15 rounds with, then world champ. Muhammed Ali in 1975. He even knocked Ali down!
