Some do, some don't. In the same way as some Americans are morbidly obese.

Different parts of Britain have both the best and worst teeth in Europe. Scotland have the worst, wheras 16 year olds in Britain have the best. To say British people do have bad teeth really is steriotypical though - it may have been true in the 1940's, but it's really not so now.

Yes and yes. They drink so much tea with sugar and smoke a lot and drink a fair enough bit that there teeth are one of the physical areas effected. They don't intrinsically have rotten teeth, just poor dental health and loads of neglect, like going to bed without brushing or flossing. I don't know if they get their teeth cleaned regularly, like many Americans do, but maybe someone else can answer that part for me?

i guess you ve watched austin powers last night? americans water is fortified by flouride .wow, say that 10 times fast. but anyway, that would also answer why ppl with well water that dont brush usuallly flash a toothless smile. flouride is where its at, and i d bet the folks across the atlantic pond dont have flouride in their water
