Why people like to used 'pig' to laugh at fat people even hippo also fat?

Very few people who are at a normal weight and always have been can understand what it is to have a body that hangs on to every ounce of food you give it like there was starving tomorrow. Some of us were bred out of gene stock that grew up in cold climates. The body is designed by Mother Nature to hang onto fat, like a bear, against the cold winter. And only vigorous work can keep that under control.

I'm Pennsylvania Dutch. They say, "A fat wife and a full barn never did any man harm." They figure if she's fat, she must be a good cook, and therefore the farmer and his kids will eat well, too. And a fat woman is less likely to flirt with strangers -- or less likely to be taken seriously if she does!

So if you've never been heavy, recognize that it's not just the cheeseburgers I have eaten you see before you, it's my grandfather's saurbraten and pig's feet souse.

And if you have been heavy and you dieted and exercised and lost it, may you keep it off. I did that, and it was OK until I got hit by a car and was laid up, no exercise, nothing to do but read paperback novels, munch and do cross-stitch!

If it makes you feel better, I use hippo all the time when talking about some things. For instance, we had a female cat, who was fixed, and rather large. She liked to try and sneak out the front door when you walked out, so I warned my dad to watch out, that cat is stealthy like a hippo.

to call anyone a name ia just showing a persons ignorance.i do not do it and have raised kids not to do it,it is not always how much you eat that keeps you heavy there may be a legit medical reason such as thyroid problems which can cause 2 things either graves or hoshe motos disease and you may gain weight with one of them.it is my opinion that a truely good person looks at the inside of a person and not the outside,remember the saying "judge not lest you be judged".peoples ignorance and rudeness will come back to them one day

The word pig is more easy to use and learn.
