It's a great picture. It's related to physics (you could look at ANY picture and say this - the laws of the physical world govern everything around us) in every way.

HOWEVER, I beleive the picture specifically relates the fact that light cannot bend around corners. You can see the rays of the sun penetrating the gaps in the cloud cover and moving down towards the earth/sea. Note that on this picture the rays of light (strictly groups of rays of light) do not bend, but keep in a straight line.

Light is thought to consist of photons (they are both particles and have wave motion at the same time) that travel (at the speed of light) only in straight lines. I don't believe there is a specific named law that describes this characteristic, but I might be wrong. This why if you hold your hand up towards the wall with a light source behind it (for example, a torch), you see a shadow...an outline of your hand. The light particles cannot bend around your hand and therefore cause an outlne on the wall.

Hope this helps!

Nice picture of the sun breaking through some clouds.

Now, since it shows reality, then yes it is related to physics, however, not to any specific laws.

You could use the laws of evaporation and condensation to explain the existence of the clouds.

You could use the laws of nuclear fussion to explain how the sun makes light.

You could use the laws of gravitation to explain how the earth was formed and create the mountains.

In other words, the laws of physics are all around us, and all parts of that picture are related to the laws of physics.

My highschool physics teacher used to say "Physics is everything!"
Since it's a picture of something, and something is part of everything, then it must be a picture of physics.
I'm sure you could find something related to physics in that picture, such as what built the mountains or why you see streams of light through the clouds...

may be related to physics as everything in physics is related to nature.
