Well, Jacqueline "Stiletto" Mitchell, who was by any estimation a criminal of the first order, was a-courting a young man of whom I'm sure you've heard: one Jackboots McGroth. He really was a hardened criminal thug of the old school, and has an unlikely sounding record in the Guinness Book of World Records 1972: that of the most utterances of the phrase "Shut it you Richard!" in a minute. He managed 89, which is pretty remarkable in anyone's book, never mind Mr Guinness's tome.
Anyway, Jacqueline used to have McGroth checked every couple of days to see if he was talking to the Old Bill. So, going on that evidence, as I think we should, you (or "u" perchance?) should get a criminal's record beau re-checked every 48 hours or so.

In my work with children, if I stay in the same post, it is every three years. Everytime a person takes up a new job, even if every fortnight you are required to have another check. If you do two different jobs at once, you need two checks. No employer can you accept you on the strength of a check done while with another employer.
