Ja...every now and then, the average man sitting in the bar after a hard day's work will sometimes begin to think about that. So many good people he's known has died, and yet, others like Castro seem to live on forever.
I guess that's the way it goes. But live well. That's everyone's best revenge, and outlive all your enemies so that you may have your greatest revenge.

That can't necessarily be proven true, but sometimes I feel that way, and I think the best answer can be summed up by a Palahniuk quote:
"Alls God does is watch us and kill us when we get boring. We must never, ever be boring."
It would make sense from that philosophical standpoint of bad people living//good people dying. But then again I have known so many kind and generous people who fought in wars and lived long *** productive lives.
However, they were interesting people!

exactly. good people die young, and the rest last forever. look at the prison population. they have hurt/killed others, but they get the best society could give. free medical care. free dental care, transplants and the like. crime does pay. even if on death row, they are guaranteed at least 20-30 more years. if they become ill during that time, the state, etc. will make sure that everytrhing is done to save their lives. sad, but true.

I know many very good people with wonderful dispositions who lived well into their 80's and '90's.
Sometimes it just seems the other way around. A lot of very good people die far too young.

that's just a matter of co-incidence or some people may look things that way because bad people tend to liquidate or kill good men.
