I think they are afraid of the reaction, the judgement. Always wondering how someone will take it. will they think less of you? will they have a different feeling than you? ....the unknown can always be a frightening thing.

Because they are afraid of what the other person might think about them! Also if in case of men then it is seens as a failure of being unable to sort out the issue by themselves that they have to get advice from someone... Some dont want others to know what they feel because they would like to keep it private!

tough guys think they might change if they say what they're afraid of. hot girls wont be able to dis as many boys if the boy knows what shes scared of.

its simple because ppl are afraid to accept what they really feel and have fear of rejection if nove lover atleast i am his or her friend rt now and may be if i propose even that may break up.

its called insecurity and more over u share your feelings only with some oe who's intimate or a close friend .. you dont tell your feelings to everybody

mayb they are scared they will tell someone else or the person will laugh or the matter is to personal or they've had bad experiences in the past. . .
