well i doubt it is just the girls. Could it be that the older boy might be trying to get the more impressionable 12 year old into the sac because He is a raging bag of hormones? who knows? you only have one side of the story. However, almost all youth is trying to rush into things. And yes, i think girls clothing is more revealing, but i think that is up to the parents. because what 12 year old makes enough money to provide her own wardrobe? the parents should monitor their childrens behaviour to make sure it is appropriate. but anywho...back to the point..yes both sexes are growing up too quicky

You did a nice thing to advise her not to get into bed at a young age---you did the right thing. Now it is up to her and she needs to be given some really good books on the subject of sex. A 12 year old with a baby is not cute and a 12 year old with a disease is a bad problem--tell her about all that.Girls and guys get way in over their heads--too bad.....but it happens. What good is not telling the Aunt??? and who is this 15 year old??? I think I would visit this bum---he might even be a 35 year old on the site---you just don't know. My God--12 years old.

I have to say i completely disagree. I think that lots of girls still have the sense to wait until the time is right. Alot of it depends on the people they are mixing with and the amount of peer pressure at the time. Childrens clothing stores, target much more revealing clothes from a much earlier age, so its not suprising when teens seem to follow trend.

Most girls that have been brought up by responsible parents have a modicum of sense, but the chav brigade work on the basis that by having a baby at the age of thirteen will entitle them to a council flat with all the mod cons that they think are the necessities of life. Little do they know !

i know, long gone are the days of children wanting to be children for as long as possible. what your friends cousin wants is completely illegal, and something should be said to his aunt, cause its not safe for the boy, as when he turns 16 he could be arrested and jailed for sleeping with someone so young.
so many girls now look so much older than they are, they are so desperate to grow up...its sad, but its how the world has evolved. i think a bit more parental input and control could help the situation, but at the end of the day, how can we stop celebrities influencing young children? with the amounts of advertising there is today, theres no way we can tell them to stay young and enjoy their childhood.

yeah i totally agree...im fifteen and (i like to think) im not a little s1ut like lots of girls nowadays, but i still find it hard to stay a good girl when everyone else around me is having sex and acting 25 all the time...i dont want to be something im not, and i want to wait til i find someone i really trust and care about before taking that step. the problem is, teens nowadays think that, by sleeping around and drinking and smoking and all that, they're more mature, but i think its more mature to not rush into things and be patient...if i were your friend, id tell my cousin exactly what i think: that she's far too young and she doesn't have to grow up so fast.

Girls and boys are maturing alot faster than they used to. Many kids enter puberty at a much younger age these days, my friends son got his first pubic hair aged 9!!! The thing that really worries me is that although their bodies maybe ready for sex, their minds aren't. They aren't mature enough to get their heads around possible pregnancy (contraception), STD's etc.
The high street shops don't help much either, targetting young girls with revealing "fashionable" clothing.

Tell her mom- I gaurantee you, she will want to know.
Girls are not growing up any faster, they have sexuality jammed down their throats and are raising themselves. Parents are not making the time to have meaningful conversations (not just lectures of "don't do this"). They expect the schools to raise thier children.

I don't know how old you are, but if your friend was driving on a road that dropped off a cliff, would you tell him or let him keep driving?

I'm 22 - I'm sure me and my pals weren't as obsessed with sex as the 15year olds are now! I think people are rushing into things much younger these days but it doesn't help that shops/magazines etc try to make them into someone sexual so young ie selling padded bras and thongs aimed at 11-13years. Its really messed up, I personally feel

yes, a 12 yr old with a 15 yr is old quite troubling. 12 yr olds arent even fully developed yet, what is this 15 yr old boy interested in her for, unless hes a pedophile?
the society of today targets younger people. we're both intimidated and amazed by our children's newfound sexuality...but theres really not much anyone of us can do.
