Insert the Pen Drive and Format it. If that doesn't help bust it up and trash it as they are cheap anyhow. IF you format it, you are going to LOSE any info that is on it by the way.

It can't be repaired only replaced.

See if you can borrow a friends drive that you know works and try it in your computer. If it works your device needs to be replaced.

If it's under warranty take it to where you purchased it for a replacement

If your friends device doesn't work in your machine you have a problem with your computer.

If your computer has an AMD CPU, and Viatech USB Host Controllers; changing the USB Host Controller drivers to standard or generic drivers, may work.

You may also try putting this line in the config.sys file, "lastdrive=m" .
You can use any text editor, as long as it saves in generic ascii form, Edit.com works great for this. This can be found in the c:\windows\command\" directory.

It is dead. The cost of repairing it may be higher than getting a new one with more space unless still under warranty.
