I offered to lift my feet up while she was hoovering and she gave me a filthy look so i just left them there while she hoovered around me.

Although I find it incredibly hard I do resist the temptation to do any housework. I am very good at leaving the Vacuum cleaer around, and the odd duster to make it look as if I was going to do it though.
Life is too short to dust skirting boards!

Because men are useless at the housework, they just half **** things in a rush and think that half a job is better than none but this usually makes a woman more angry as they will need to go behind you and finish the job properly. Woman have set ways of doing tasks and usually men wont ever get it right because they just wont get it to the same standard, that said I am sure that a few house husbands do a right good job.

Ha Ha.....I help my wife with the housework. I do live here and I make more messes than she does so I feel it's my responsibility, too. When you work together it gets done a lot faster and then you have more time to spend together. Real men aren't afraid of losing their masculinity if they lend a hand to the wife. It's called partnership.

Excuuuuse me! Not every woman INSISTS on doing house work, its just that if we want the job done right ,we gotta do it ourselves! ...back atcha!
On a more serious note: If my man is making decent money working, and I dont need to work, then of course Ill keep the house tidy. But that dont mean us woman have to pick up after ya'll!

You've apparently never met my wife! I do all the hoovering, the dishes, and the dusting. In return she does the bathrooms and gives the kids baths each night. Seems like a fair trade to me.

To feel needed sometimes but usually because we can do it better and so its done the way we want it. occasionally make an effort and ask how its done even if you think you know how.

both make it dirty and we both clean it up. I don't blame her for giving you the look, why not try an honest, sincere attemt to help her....after all. in the words of a Canadian Comedian "happy wife, happy life!!!"
