I-Pod Problem?

For some reason my i pod dosn't want to show up under my computer but it does show up in i tunes how do i get it to show up in my computer

Connect iPod, in the bottom toolbar, is 'safely remove hardware'
find ipod there, and delete it... then disconnect, and reconnect it.. Let the system find it again, and it will be in 'my computer'

You have to turn on disk mode for your computer to see it as an external hard drive.
