On paper i.e. constitution we are "secular". In reality, we are not because of vote bank politics. See, Jammu and Kashmir, North Eastern states, Goa, West Bengal, Kerala. Is secularism exist there? Slowly withering away from India because of its weak policies.

Because India is a majority of Hindus which by and large are tolerant society towards other religions, had it been reversed then India might not have been a secular state ,Pakistan is the best example for this

Becoz India gives religious freedom to all her people. We can follow any religion of our choice.

because our (indian) costitution advocates the full equality among all indian citizens ; irrespective of caste,creed,religious.
