To Those two above me ,you totally missed the point! its not about who to blame in an American paranoid political sense. The reason is simple all those people you mentioned advocated freedom or emancipation or even a change of heart, all were butchered!
The Demons have always ruled this world to keep mankind in slavery and fear.

Hmmm.... I guess by your logic, HItler, Goering, Kaiser Wilhelm, Nikita Kruschev, everybody who had a viewpoint and died, was silenced? Not everyone agrees with your list, and shouldn't agree with this one either.
And of course, John Lenin being shot by a nut job was on the short list of people in the big conspiracy of silencing the true geniuses of the world.
Hmm... Robert F. Kennedy, shot by a Muslim extremist, wow, what a blow... How will this be pinned on csnservatives?
And then there's Jesus, he was killed by (name your racial hatred here).
If some of the posters had their way, Bush would be next also.
Man, people kill other people, it happens and it's not nice.
It has been happening since Cain and Abel and it isnt' going to stop in our lifetimes.
The best we can do is try and practice tolerance and teach our children to solve things in a peaceful way. But it doesn't mean that we have to sit back and let ourselves be killed if we can avoid it.

Interesting choice of people's names you have there.

Not one shred of connection except they all died at the hands of another, and not all for any 'Truth'......

The ones that were not killed for any 'Truth'
Jesus...... He KNEW he was going to die and went there willingly
John Lennon... killed by a lunatic to show his love for a girl
Abe Lincoln.... killed because he destroyed Georgia & Alabama
John Kennedy..... not sure why he was killed still
Socrates.... killed because of other jealous scholars
Saddam.... executed for the mass extermination of Iraqi Muslims

The 'Truth' they were killed for
Bobby Kennedy.... Trying to stop organized crime
Dr. King...... Trying to secure more rights for blacks
Ghandi....killed by a Hindu after Gandhi wanted to pay Pakistan
Copernicus... trying to say the world was round not flat

189,000 Kurds in northern Iraq.... killed by Saddam for wanting to be free just like Dr. King and Gandhi..... is their "SILENCE FOR THE TRUTH" not worth it somehow?

You are thinking that there is one universal truth, and all these people knew it? What truth did JFK and RFK share with John Lennon? The only two people in this list that are remotely similar are Jesus and Gandhi. The rest are known to have lived disreputable lives.

As the movie title states...Clear and Present Danger.

Get rid of them before they can do any more damage to the status quo.
