If you can speak Japanese fluently and you have a visa, then perhaps.

First problem is visa. Second problem is Language. Does he/she have Japanese language skills?

Cable companies are a little different and the way companies function in Japan is difficult to adjust to. But anything is possible.

there could be some hurdles in obtaining a work visa, but I would say not impossible if you can speak Japanese. Also you would have to be able to speak the ultra polite keigo - sonkeigo Japanese since you would interact with customers.
