That site was really interesting. It struck home with me, because for as long as I can remember, people ask me, "What are you?" I have two tribes of Native American, German, African American, Irish and Italian descent. I remember in 2nd grade being laughed at, because the other children couldn't tell if I was white or black. Strangers coming up to me and trying to guess what I was. Standing in line to get a drink only to be asked, "What are you?" by the person working.
Anyways, I am quite proud to be who I am. An American. So I believe that you can't tell who a person is just based on their appearance.

once i was passing through flagstaff arizona. In the hotel there was a continental breakfast, well there aren't many blacks in flagstaff and whenever I see another black person I make it a point to speak well there was another black girl with a group of white people. My husband and I tried to make eye contact she would have no part of it. So we went up to her to speak face to face. I was not going to be ignored by my own kind was my way of thinking. We were polite we said hello pretending to get rolls or fruit. The girl very nicely said hello. We asked a question and she said "sorry no english, german" of course we felt stupid because we thought she was being stuck up or trying to ignore us. She didn't speak to us because she was on a tour from germany and therefore not a part of blackballing of blacks in this american society. She didn't know speaking no matter what is a sign of unity. Poor girl. LOL So no matter what your test would be flawed because unless we know the people or speak to them we would automaticly assume they are something they are not.

Nope, a lot of people move around or change countries, learn another language etc.
This makes it quite tricky.
I have a German father, 3rd generation (English/French) South African mother, and I was born and lived in South Africa for many years and now live in Spain.
There´s no chance people are going to categorise me.
Which is sometimes quite strange for people.
I´ll check out your test now.

I've taken the test and done pretty well on it. So what. I don't care what race people are ....unless they are chinese--then I can converse with them in mandarin.

My apologies if you thought I was accusing you of racism. That was never my intent.

i sometimes think i can tell what someone is, but not all the time. but it's super easy to tell if someone is mixed though. but i am a mixture of three races and no one can EVER figure out what i'm mixed with. lol i looooove it. i have people come up to me and speak to me in spanish and i'm not even mixed with latina or they come up with they they think i'm mixed with and they're not even remotely close. lol.
