I have had a bidder back out of buying an item because postage was too high. The bidder did not bother to check air mail prices before they bid!! I don't mind this since I was able to make a second chance offer to the next highest bidder, the only problem is I don't know how to get rid of the first bidders details. I have sent the second highest bidder the 2nd chance offer so do I just click on relist next to the other bidder then cancel it? Would this get rid of their details? Please help, I am fairly new to selling on E-Bay and although I am OK with the basics, when things like this happen I struggle. Many Thanks.

Thanks Muggle, I have used E-Bay community and filed an unpaid item dispute but stated that we both agreed not to proceed with sale. Will def use this ervice again. Thanks for your help!

Why not try the Ebay community? They are there to help with these sort of questions and I've used them many times before, they're always so helpful and knowledgeable. Am not saying people on here aren't, but the community may be able to help you more. Good luck

I didn't quite understand your problem but if you want to send a second chance offer you just click on this option from the list of received bids in the page for the item in question.
Or you can click from the drop-down menu on your "My eBay" page, next to the item in question.
Both options should, once the person has accepted the chance to buy, replace the first buyer's details with the second one.
Don't click on relist - that will put the item back up for sale.
Hope that is of some help to you. Edit your question if you need further help and we'll try to assist.

If they accept the 2nd chance offer, I believe the information will be Emailed to you. They have to accept the offer first though. Don't relist though because it will start a new auction, and by cancelling it, it makes you look bad as a new Ebayer.
