You're totally clueless. It takes at least 15 minutes to iron a shirt, sometimes more if the fabric is tricky (I have trouble with oxford cloth) or if the shirt has long sleeves. You can have a shirt washed and pressed at the cleaners for about $1.50...get that crisp, professional finish every time, and show your wife that you know she's too important to you to have to spend hours every week ironing your clothes.
Don't offer her any advice on how to press clothes, or give her the link to a website...she's likely to throw the iron at your head.
Instead, apologize to her and tell her that she does such a great job taking care of you and the house that she makes it seem easy, and that you never think of how much work she really has to do. Then tell her that you're going to start taking your shirts to the cleaners so that she won't have to spend so much time on them. It's a win-win situation...she feels appreciated, and you end up with nicely done shirts.

she did her best to iron the shirt, apparently u found fault with how she did it, it hurt her feeling's, should have just shut your mouth even if the shirt was creased, u should have acted grateful for the things she does do for u, instead of finding fault with a little crease. show her u care by a nice dinner out, telling her how much you do appreciate her, and by telling her how sorry and wrong u were to be so concerned over nothing. maybe in the future u should iron your own shirts, if u are going to fault her ironing.

I don't know whether there's a website about ironing shirts properly but if you just told her to take more care whilst ironing you clothes i'm sure she would get the message. Surely she doesn't want to be known as the wife of a man whose clothes are incorrectly pressed.
I don't know, some women are just so ungrateful when you try to help and guide them!

Get a cleaner, a maid, or - cheapest an au-pair.
(all the above to be chosen ugly)
Your wife will have more time to spend on important matters, and if you are lucky, that might even include you!
Plus you would be a hero for helping someone to get a job.
Plus you can show off in front of your friends - maid = money = yes, you are great.
What are you waiting for

Sound like you insulted your wife's pride. She is hurt and feels embarrassed AND overlooked in all she does for you. I can relate. No offense, but maybe you should press your own clothes for a week and then you'd appreciate all your wife does. Express more gratitude for what she does for you. Many women feel this way.

Why not show her how it should be ironed then!!! although she might be a slow learner and have to be shown over and over so it might just be quicker and more peacful in the long run to iron your own shirts

I don't think she say that only because of this incident.. And finding that site will only make her more mad at you.. Maybe it's time you put more attention to what she do for you.. seriously, even some small things like making breakfast.. When you find this small thing.. Just say thank you and yes.. It does make her happy even if she act like she don't

Do it yourself. The marriage vows don't mention ironing or serving the man in general. Oh and grow up and get used to the fact that she is not your mother!
